Terms of Service
The terms under which you use Omnibus, the 30-day lowest-price compliance app for Shopify.

1. Acceptance
By installing or using Omnibus (the "app"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not install or use the app. You must be authorized to act on behalf of the Shopify store on which you install it.
2. The service
Omnibus records your product price history and displays the lowest price applied in the last 30 days on reduced products, with the discount computed from that reference (EU Price Indication Directive, Art. 6a). It reads product/variant prices only and writes one app-owned product metafield that a theme block renders. It accesses no orders and no customer data. See our Privacy Policy for how data is handled.
3. Not legal advice
Omnibus implements the Art. 6a reference-price mechanics (the lowest price applied in the prior 30 days, and the discount computed from it) from your own price history. It is a tool, not legal advice, and does not guarantee compliance in every situation: national exemptions and edge cases (for example perishables, launch prices, or country-specific wording rules) vary, and correct display also depends on you adding and configuring the theme block. 4. Your store & changes
- You retain all rights to your products and store content.
- Omnibus writes only its own omnibus.references product metafield; it never edits your product content, price, or inventory.
- The storefront block is added by you in your theme editor and can be removed at any time.
5. Acceptable use
You agree not to misuse the app: no attempts to reverse-engineer, disrupt, or overload the service, and no use in violation of Shopify's terms or applicable law.
6. Billing
Paid plans are billed through Shopify's managed billing according to the plan and interval you select. Fees are charged via your Shopify invoice. You can change or cancel your plan from within the app; charges already incurred are non-refundable except where required by law.
7. Warranty disclaimer & liability
The app is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind to the maximum extent permitted by law. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Omnibus and its operators are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue, data, goodwill, or regulatory penalties. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the fees you paid for the app in the three months preceding the claim.
8. Termination & changes
You may uninstall the app at any time; on uninstall we remove your data as described in the Privacy Policy. We may update these terms from time to time; material changes are reflected by the "Last updated" date. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
